Grace- CHAWO was established on June 10, 2020 to improve the overall accessibility, affordability and availability of basic health care and wellness services in rural communities while addressing rural health-care and wellness accessibility impediments.

Objectives

To bring basic health care services closer to people living in rural communities.

To sensitize community members about infectious diseases and preventative measures.

To provide maternity services to expectant mothers and newborns.

To provide emergency transportation means to well-equipped regional /referral health care facilities.

To Partner, collaborate and work closely with Health Care Workers in rural Health centres to extend health care services.

To educate rural residents with the aim of enabling them understand health information and instructions from health providers.

Strengthen networking and partnership building with Health stakeholders and organization in providing basic health care services.

To work with the Government MDAs and international Partners to boost access to free primary health care by the  poor rural communities.

To collaborate with local, national and international health care providers in educating, counseling rural residents on ways of managing diseases.

To examine and address the health needs of the rural community from which other communities can benchmark from.
